The debate as to who's the better trash talker between Conor McGregor and Chael Sonnen has been on for months - so is the argument over who's a bigger superstar amongst the brash Irishman and the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, Ronda Rousey.
For Sonnen, however, the answer to both is as clear as Walter White's product on Breaking Bad.
"It's Conor," Sonnen said. "If you are wondering whose numbers are more, it's Conor. Now the UFC has continued to say it's Ronda and I don't know what the rationale there is."
In hindsight, since his break out UFC debut versus Marcus Brimage, McGregor has been tearing up the MMA world; racking up massive pay-per-view numbers and ticket sales.
"Overall, he's better as far as an entertainer goes," the Oregon native claimed. "And he'll pass the torch to somebody else."
Chael continued, "I'm not trying to be nice here. I'm not afraid to say I was the better entertainer. I think the reality is, he's come along and done some great things and I might have influenced him."
Inspiration plays a huge part in the success of any mixed martial arts fighter, whether in style or how he/she carries him/herself outside the cage.
With this, Sonnen gives credit where credit is due and acknowledges the impact of the interim UFC featherweight champ.
"Guys are studying him right now," Sonnen stated. "Conor does everything right and he works his [expletive] off. And he's constantly on seven days a week and he deserves everything that he gets."
Conor McGregor does have those certain fiery qualities on the microphone that set Chael Sonnen apart from other fighters in the past. Aside from this trait, McGregor can also dominate and overwhelm opponents just like Rousey.
For now, MMA - especially Irish - fans will have to wait if the Notorious one can continue his dominance over the competition and beat long-time featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo.
If all goes according to plan, not only will it prove Chael Sonnen's status as a brilliant MMA mind, it will also bring McGregor's legacy to new heights, one that's arguably far greater than anyone has ever imagined.
On December 12, Conor McGregor will face Jose Aldo at UFC 194 in Las Vegas, Nevada for the undisputed UFC Featherweight Championship.
He's also coaching Team Europe against Urijah Faber's Team USA in the current season of The Ultimate Fighter.
