Although "Finding Carter" season 2B premiere is a few weeks away, fans can still have a preview of what to expect on the upcoming MTV series.

It seems like things are moving from worse to get much more complicated. In the summer finale of "Finding Carter," the day in court turned out pretty rough as Carter (Kathryn Prescott) had to talk about what she said to Lori at the hospital, but that was not the big shocker part of the episode.

A shocker came when the guy Carter had actually talked to outside came in the courtroom, and it came out that he is Lori (Milena Govich) and David Wilson's (Alexis Denisof) biological son. After that, it was evident that Ben (Ben Winchell) was only going to cause more drama.

"Finding Carter" season 2B promo unleashed by MTV confirms the drama and teases more. The one-and-a-half-minute long trailer, is full of what will happen next when the series comes back in October. Both Lori and Ben will remain, with the former informing Carter that she will always be available for her in case she needed anything.

The promo also teases that Gabe could be having feelings for Taylor, Entertainment Weekly reported. The publication reveals that showrunner Emily Whitesell has teased that things will become "complicated" on that front as Gabe struggles to continue dealing with his father's death. At the same time, Taylor has to figure out how to handle the relationships in her life.

Whitesell says, "I think Gabe convinces himself that he loves her. It's interesting to watch her navigate her very deep friendship feelings for Gabe and become confused in a moment or two. We were really interested in exploring this idea of what the difference is between deeply loving someone and being in love with someone."

The promo as well provides a glimpse of a new recurring guest figure, Jackson Rathbone. According to Inquisitr, Rathbone will be playing "the charming and business-savvy Jared." His morals are compromised after he develops feelings for Carter.

"Finding Carter" season 2B debuts on Oct. 6, Tuesday on MTV at 10 p.m.
