"NCIS" Season 13 premieres Sept. 22, 2015. Episode 1 is titled "Stop the Bleeding" and focuses on the aftermath of the shootout on Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and DiNozzo's (Michael Weatherly) hunt for The Calling. Fans must brace themselves for an action-packed and emotional season-opener. Here are spoilers for "NCIS" Season 13 Episode 1 and Episode 2 revealing what follows after. According to Spoiler TV's description, "NCIS" Season 13 premiere will see Gibbs' fight for survival. Season 12 finale saw Gibbs being shot twice in his chest.
"NCIS" Season 13 Episode 1 "Stop the Bleeding" picks up from where it left off and features what happens after. Gibbs is rushed to Navy Hospital Ship where Jon Cryer's character Dr. Cyril Taft saves Gibbs life.
As for DiNozzo, he takes the lead on the case involving The Calling. Mimi Rogers' Joanne Teague joins DiNozzo on his mission and the two go after Daniel Budd who is now located in Shanghai. Here, they bring down the terrorist organisation, that is responsible for recruitment of teenagers for terrorist activities.
In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Gary Glasberg said that first part of Episode 1 is going to be sentimental focusing on Gibbs' surgery. "Really, the whole first half of the [premiere] is this emotional roller coaster ride, of Gibbs' surgery," Glasberg told the abovementioned publication.
As for the second half of "Stop the Bleeding," it revolves around the mission to bring down the terrorist organisation The Calling. Speaking to FOX 411, the showrunner revealed the second part of Episode 1 is heavy on action.
"We pick up on his trail, and it's like a little movie. There's a tremendous international flavor to this episode..."Glasberg said.

Meanwhile, details about Episode 2 are already out. The second chapter of "NCIS" Season 13 is titled "Personal Day" and sees the team take up a new case with an agent who may have a personal connection to Gibbs. The official synopsis (via Buddy TV) states that Gibbs asks his team to assist DEA Agent Luis Mitchell, played by guest star John Gabriel, on a case.
DiNozzo soon finds out that Gibbs has a personal connection to the agent. Meanwhile, fans can expect to see Gibbs in a new avatar when he returns to the agency sporting a new look. Gibbs' modern look gets the team gossiping about the change in him.
