"WWE 2K16" is considered as the biggest roster in the franchise, boasting 120 characters playable in the game. However, with all characters now unveiled, some fans were disappointed to not see some of the faces that they were previously expecting.

Developer 2K Sports has now confirmed a few new details to address some fan speculation about the possibility of follow-up characters being introduced into the game via post-launch expansions and content. Some of the notable missing divas in the "WWE 2K16" roster include Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Bayley. But another set of confirmed female fighters that will not be coming to the game include the Four Horsewomen.

Following fan reaction about the lack of a number of expected divas, 2K Sports responded with an official statement over at the WWE 2K website. According to the developer, the tem had tried to push for the inclusion of the divas, but there were various unspecified reasons why it did not work out.

Even the Four Horsewomen-Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler-are not included in the main "WWE 2K16." Fans who are still hoping for redemption in a post-launch DLC are also in for a disappointment as 2K Sports already confirmed their exclusion.

"We are proud to have and built the largest WWE roster to date featuring the most Divas ever," said 2K Sports in an official statement in the website. "We all agree the Divas Revolution is great for business and look forward to celebrating the Divas even more in the future 'WWE 2K' titles."

The missing divas does not, in any way, diminish the expansive roster and new features that will debut with the "WWE 2K16." The newest trailer for "WWE 2K16," spotted by DualShockers, features a number of moves and the players' pre-game cheers.

Aptly titled "Oh Hell Yeah," there are a lot of takedown and body slams of both fighters and divas. Cover fighter Stone Cold Steve Austin is also seen two minutes into the trailer delivering body slams of his own. Sharp-eyed viewers also get to see Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in between scenes. The trailer ends showing off two versions of The Terminator.

"WWE 2K16" will come first to North America on Oct. 27, while the rest of the world will get it on Oct. 30. The game will debut on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. 2K Sports has already revealed some preorder bonus for those who will get the "WWE 2K16" on the PS4 and PS3. Preorder details for Microsoft's platform are expected sometime before the release of the game.
