Three of the best drinks to be enjoyed on Sept. 27, Sunday, when the blood moon event takes place, are Chandra Chai Moon tea, Blue Moon beer and the Full Moon Fever drink.

As the fourth lunar eclipse since April 2014, the blood moon event that will take place during the lunar eclipse on Sept. 27, Sunday, which is also the first full moon of fall, is no longer rare. However, it is still a special event to witness that deserves the following drinks:

1.      Chandra Chai Moon tea

According to the recipe by Kimberley H., which is available on All Recipes, the ingredients of Chandra Chai Moon tea include five cups of water, three tablespoons of honey, one teaspoon of whole cloves, one vanilla bean, 1/2 teaspoon whole allspice berries, 1/2 teaspoon licorice root and 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds.

2.      Blue Moon Drink

Launched in 1995, Blue Moon Belgian White is a Belgian-style witbier Blue Moon Brewing Co. originally brewed in Golden, Colo. Included in the grain bill for Blue Moon are oats, coriander, orange peel, white wheat and malted barley.

Sometimes, the Blue Moon beer is served with a slice of orange. According to its creator Keith Villa, the orange slice garnish was mostly intended for attention-getting when the drink is served in a bar.

3.      Full Moon Fever drinkTop of FormBottom of Form

According to the Drinks Mixer recipe of Full Moon Fever drink, the ingredients of this drink are pineapple juice, one dash of sweet and sour mix, 1 oz of Midori melon liqueur, 2 oz of Malibu coconut rum, 1 oz of light rum and ½ oz of spiced rum. The three rums and the melon liqueur must be added with in highball glass with ice.
