Reports claim that the company still has not completely abandoned the idea of a possible release for the LG G4 Pro.

According to Phandroid, the report came in from the notorious leaker @OnLeaks. In 2014, some LG representatives said that the company is setting aside the G Pro line of devices in order to focus more on the flagship devices. Reports claim that while LG did set aside the G Pro project in 2014, the company did not comment about their plans for 2015.

Rumors about the LG G4 Pro surfaced in June. A leak from South Korea previously claims that the device will sport a 5.8-inch Quad HD display and a dual-rear camera setup. The leak also said that the device will be billed as part of the super-premium line of devices.

The latest leak to surface is an alleged photo of the LG G4 Pro's case. The rear side of the case shows at-shaped hole probably where the camera along with the LED-flash will be situated.

The LG G4 Pro is rumored to come with 4GB of internal memory and will be available in two storage variants, 32GB and 64GB. The device is also rumored to sport a Snapdragon 820 chipset from Qualcomm. There are also rumors claiming that it will sport a removable battery which is very uncommon nowadays, especially in top-tiered devices.

LG has yet to confirm the launched date of the device and the company has not even confirmed if the device is actually exists. However, there are speculations and leaks claiming that the LG G4 Pro will finally see the light of day on Oct. 1, according to Android Headlines.
