Latest rumors indicate that "Fast and Furious 8" may be cancelled because of internal wrangles.

According to Celeb Café, there have been issues in the production of the film in the recent past. The publication points out that film production co-president, Jeffrey Kirshenbaum, has left the team. Furthermore, the director of "Fast and Furious 7," James Wan, also exited to concentrate on the sequel from New Line Cinema, "The Conjuring."

The publication reveals that insiders have confirmed that the $200 million and two years of producing "Fast and Furious 7" was so demanding that Wan's health was compromised.

Vin Diesel, the "XXX" star and one of the main characters in "Fast and Furious," might replace Wan to director the film. However, there have been speculations that Diesel is "hard to work with" - allegations that Diesel has dismissed to be "complete nonsense."

The actor made an official statement through his Facebook account saying, "Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision... they have been like family... I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga."

Diesel promised to announce the directors of the movie on his next post.

While reports about the cancellation of "Fast and Furious" might not be credible, it seems like the production team has been having behind-the-scene disputes. Fans should not be worried since the adventure film will commence shooting in New York City this summer.

Actress Michelle Rodriguez unveiled that the team was rounding up the troops, Australian Network News reported. She also added that the next film would pay tribute to their late co-star, Paul Walker.

"Fast and Furious 8" debuts on April 14, 2017.
