"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" has been released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game also comes with a day one patch, larger than the game itself. The patch is said to be 7.7GB large, compared to the 3GB game.

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" is 4.6GB large and will need to make room for the patch. The only problem with this is that patch will be available on the day of the game's release, which somehow indicates that it contains important updates that gamers should not look pass through.

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" excited players are thinking how the game would function without the update. Gamers are growing curious about the said patch, because there aren't any indications what the patch is really for, Techno Buffalo reported. There have been news that the game's direction of art style has been changing a few weeks before its release, which is the possible reason for the huge software update.

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" game developer, Robomodo announced that they implemented some changes in the game's art style back in August. Instead of having a 3D looking style, the developer changed it to something more cartoonish and flatter cel-shaded style.

Robomodo Head Josh Tsui shared with the Euro Gamer, "Our priority from the start has been to make sure Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 feels good to play. That means hitting 60fps at 1080p, even when you're shredding with 20 people in the same session online."

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" one day patch only shows that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 has a lot to improve on to provide the best gaming experience, which encourages games from buying the said game. It is available in the PS4 and Xbox One, as either a digital download or by disk which could be purchased in any retail stores in the U.S. PS3 and Xbox 360 users may also have a piece of the experience, as a version of their platforms would be released in November.
