According to the new discovery on iOS Ad Blockers, the use of iOS Ad Blockers has various benefits to an iPhone user.

The New York Times recently decided to carry out a case study on how blocking ads affect an iOS user's data plan for four days. According to PC Magazine, ad blockers have been available on the PC for quite some time but it is also now available for iOS devices. The users simply download the Ad Blocker and switch on blocking in the Safari browsers.

The most common Ad blockers are; Purify, Crystal and 1Blocker, NYT reported. The Ad blockers were launched into the iOS ecosystem in September, with the launch of its latest iOS 9. Shortly after, the ad blockers became top at the charts for iOS paid apps leading to a high demand for such software.

According to Dean Murphy, the developer of the ad-blocking app, blocking programs will be required to come up with better ads that are less taxing on mobile gadgets. This will help decrease the web page sizes and accelerate load times.

However, the iOS Ad-blocker has a negative impact for news sites supported by online ads. According to David Jacobs, chief executive of 29-Street publishing, there are small publishers that make 50 to 75 percent of their revenues from ads and they will be forced to look for another way to make money. This is the sole reason why ad blockers leave the online publishing world at a conflict with this feature.
