The Arizona Cardinals (3-1) suffered their first defeat of the season in Week 4 and will hope to go back to its winning rhythm against the hard-luck Detroit Lions (0-4) at the Ford Field on Sunday.
Arizona let the St. Louis Rams escape with a 24-22 victory at the University of Phoenix Stadium last Sunday after opening the game with a fumble, as reported by Fansided. The Rams took advantage of the early mistake to take a 7-0 lead, which they never relinquished throughout the match.
Cardinals' quarterback Carson Palmer was not in his usual efficient self, going 29-of-46 for 352 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and four sacks for a 51.9 QBR.
Meanwhile, Detroit remained winless after four outings as they dropped a low-scoring 13-10 game to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday at the CenturyLink Field, via SB Nation.
The Seahawks once more displayed their powerful defense against the hapless Lions, limiting Matthew Stafford and his offensive crew to only three points in the first three quarters.
There seems to be no end in sight for Jim Caldwell's woes as the Cardinals are eager to redeem themselves in this match against Detroit.
