In the third edition of the Miss Grand International contest, approximately 90 countries and territories are anticipated to vie for the coveted crown.
The official welcome and press conference of Miss Grand International 2015 was held at Central World in the Bangkok's shopping district on Oct. 7. All the beauty queens were present to be introduced to the invited members of the media.
The grand finale will take place on Oct. 25 at Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand. The Miss Grand International Organization is a Thailand- based organization which helps in promoting the cause of stopping war and violence across the world.
The reigning Miss Grand International Daryanne Lees Garcia has travelled to war-torn countries like South Sudan and Iraq to support the noble cause of stopping war and violence.
This year, Miss Grand International Organization under the leadership of Nawat Itsaragrisil has employed former Miss Universe Japan National Director Ines Ligron as part of their team, according to The Great Pageant Community.
A panel of judges will shortlist the contestants into top 15 during the preliminary competition and personal interview. After that, the shortlisted contestants will contend in the swimsuit, evening gown and question and answer rounds at the grand finale. The winner gets an apartment in Bangkok, Thailand for a year, and many gifts from sponsors.
