Microsoft unveils the new Surface Pro 4 tablet recently, while VAIO re-enters the market after its parted ways with Sony.

Fans went crazy when tech giant Microsoft reveals the powerful Surface Pro 4 hybrid device. The company and retailers accepted pre-orders already, but the device will be available on Oct. 26.

VAIO made a comeback with a hybrid device and has high hopes that it will revitalize the sales and the brand.

Below is the comparison of the specs and features of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and VAIO Z Canvas Hybrid.

Screen Display

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 packs a 12.3 inch screen display with 2,736x1,824 pixel-resolution and 267 ppi. Though the screen size is not a big jump from last year's Surface Pro 3, the resolution of the laplet improved. VAIO Z Canvas Hybrid's screen is also 12.3 inch in size, but the screen resolution is 2,560x1,704.

Processor and GPU

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tabblet-laptop hybrid is probably the most powerful device in the market thanks to the new Skylake processor from Intel. The VAIO Z Canvas Hybrid is powered by Haswell processor paired with Intel Iris Pro graphics 5200.

Operating System

Both laplets will run with the latest Windows 10 OS.

Storage and RAM

The Surface Pro 4 offers up to 1TB SSD storage and the different variants have 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB RAM, while VAIO's tablet- laptop hybrid offers 256 SSD storage and 8GB RAM.

Accessories

Surface Pro 4 is equipped with a new Type Cover that features redesigned backlit keys that use a new scissor design for smoother typing. Meanwhile, VAIO Z Canvas Hybrid has a Bluetooth keyboard and active stylus.
