If all goes right, "One Direction" member Louis Tomlinson may be judging the "America's Got Talent" Season 11, replacing none other than Howard Stern. While Tomlinson's boy band is calling it quits, the spotlight may still remain on one of its members.

Show's producer Simon Cowell is reportedly inclined to appoint Tomlinson as the next potential judge for the next season of reality television show, Hollywood Life reported. They further report that "America's Got Talent" crew would be following Tomlinson's spell as the reality show guest judge on "The X Factor" and see if he would be the right alternative for Stern.

According to one of the crew members, Cowell is bent on getting the UK band "One Direction" star since he is just 23 and this would appeal to the younger crowd. However, that totally depends on Tomlinson's performance as the guest mentor at Cowell's other show "The X Factor".

Stern finished his tenure with "America's Got Talent" as a judge post the completion of the fourth season last summer. On the contrary, Tomlinson will be taking a breather exhausting schedule of "One Direction" while all the band members evaluate their solo stints.

According to Latin Post, while Liam Payne quips that his career counselor advised him to become a Fireman, Niall Horan is contemplating a profession in spinning music.

In the meantime, Tomlinson has some time for the preparation till he appears in the "The X Factor" in the last week of October. Considering that "One Direction" carved their career path through their first break on the reality television show "The X Factor", Tomlinson's appearance as a guest mentor on the show breaking away from the music band is definitely the way to his solo career.
