The Ang Dating Daan Chorale sang a medley of gospel songs in unison, properly conducted under concert conditions, and met all the requirements listed on the Guinness World Records website to bag the Largest Gospel Choir Category.

Judge Fortuna Burke Melhem was the Guinness World Records adjudicator who travelled from London, United Kingdom to judge this successful attempt to break the Guinness World Record previously held by the Iglesia ni Cristo religious group for their choir of 4745 participants. Attendance was verified by an external auditing firm P & A Grant Thornton using turnstile counting, barcoded ticketing method and the official witness, Philippine Cong. Neil Tupas.

The award was presented by Judge Melhem and was received by Bro. Daniel Razon in front of a cheering crowd of thousands. In his acceptance speech Bro. Daniel Razon said, "This is something that we did not intend to do - to get the Guinness Book of World Records but our hearts intended to give thanks to God and we believe that this is an additional blessing that came from the Lord tonight as we thank him for the thirty five years of Ang Dating Daan television program. And so for that, we will always say, To God be the Glory."

Meanwhile, according to reports from UNTV, 1700 people with disabilities were the special guests for the night and went home with both cash gifts and grocery bags. Twelve organizations supporting and sheltering people with disabilities were gifted with 100k Philippine pesos by Members Church of God International (MCGI) and Ang Dating Daan (ADD) hosts, Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon. Thirty individuals also received 10k Philippine pesos each.

Bro. Eli Soriano, the Overall Servant of the MCGI group and host of Ang Dating Daan or The Old Path, also delivered a message to the crowd via satellite saying, "Like what we always say, if we are able to do something, and if there is any glory attained, it is always for God - to God be the glory!"
