Viktor Skrypnyk's boys lost a close 0-1 game in the hands of bottom-dweller Hannover 96 as Die Roten defender Salif Sané slipped a header from the center of the box under goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald left side, as reported by ESPN.

It was Hannover's first win of the season and it came at the expense of the struggling Green Whites.

Meanwhile, the Bavarians have not lost and won all of their eight games in the season so far as Pep Guardiola and his crew consistently dominated all of their opponents, including second-running Borussia Dortmund in their last game.

Bayern gave Dortmund a shellacking 5-1 defeat at the Allianz Arena last October 4 as the high-scoring duo of Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski each had a brace while World Cup hero Mario Götze added another one to complete the five-goal haul, via SkySports.

Der FCB was never challenged in the match as only BVB striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was able to respond with a goal at the 36th minute of the match and the Munich giants already leading, 2-0.

Guardiola's side is expected to pull out another blowout victory against the Bremen residents as the latter has no answer for the trio of Müller, Lewandowski, and Götze.

Prediction: A lopsided win by Bayern Munich over Werder Bremen, 5-0.
