"Breaking Bad" actor Bryan Cranston could play Marvel's Mister Sinister.

User BossLogic tweeted a photo, featuring an image of Cranster as Mister Sinister. In the photo, Cranster's Mr. Sinister had a creepy monstrous look. His skin is pale and his eyes are glaring red, along with a red diamond shaped gem on his forehead. On Sept. 25, BossLogic also tweeted a photo of "Inception" Tom Hardy as Wolverine and it got more than 800 favorites on the social media platform.

According to Cinema Blend, while the "X-Men" Universe had introduced a number of the titular team's greatest archenemies, Mister Sinister was one of the few that had not been seen yet in the big screen.

Debuting in 1987 in the comic books, Mister Sinister was initially known as Nathanial Essex. The character also appeared in animated shows, such as "X-Men: The Animated Series" and "Wolverine and the X-Men," along with video games like "X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse."

Essex worked as a biologist from Victoria era England. He joined Apocalypse's alliance, since he thought that morals had been preventing him from becoming successful with his experiments on evolution. Apocalypse mutated Essex, giving the latter extraordinary powers, such as prolonged life, regeneration, energy projection, and shapeshifting, among others.

With the realistic style of the image, Cranster's desire to play a "nasty" villain may be fulfilled. In his recent interview with Metro at the London Film Festival premiere of Jay Roach's biopic "Trumbo," Cranston mentioned that he would like to play a big bad in a Marvel film. He also said that the character should be made from scratch and he did not know what he would have done, but it would have been "nasty."

Cranston is also known for his roles in Linwood Boomer's comedy television series "Malcolm in the Middle," Nicolas Winding Refn's crime drama "Drive," and Ben Affleck's historical drama thriller "Argo." He is set to be part of Dylan Kidd's comedy film "Get a Job," Brad Furman's crime drama "Infiltrator," and Alessandro Carloni and Jennifer Yuh's animated film "Kung Fu Panda 3."

Meanwhile, Apocalypse is set to be seen in Bryan Singer's forthcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse," which serve as the conclusion of the "X-Men" franchise as a whole.

Roach's "Trumbo" hits theaters on Nov. 6 while Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 27, 2016.
