According to some leaked information of the game play, a lot of changes will be done to the game after this patch upgrade. It is rumored that Supercell will reveal a lot of additional features of the game, which will bring the entire gaming experience to a whole new level. The rumored changes are as follows:

  • The Level 8 Barbarians: The barbarians will now be able to reach level 8, with the town hall already getting upgraded to level 11. This was also hinted at the recently released trailer of the game.
  • TH 11 level: A lot of gamers are stuck on TH 10, which is supposedly the current highest level in the game. After TH 10, the gamers can only attack other clans and make wall upgrades, which is not at all exciting. After the update, there will be whole new level to achieve.
  • The 3rd game hero: Other than the King and the Queen, there will be an introduction of a 3rd world hero. There is confirmation yet who this character might be. However, it is rumored that this hero will acquire more powers than the King and the Queen combined, according to Android Origin.
  • The single player maps: Another feature which is expected to be included in the game after this patch upgrade.
  • The dark spells and barracks: This feature will finally be unlocked and available for use.

Supercell community manager Marika Appel told Pocketgamer, "Our fanbase is certainly genuine, and very, very dedicated. The reception of 'Clash of Clans' has continued to surprise us since its launch three years ago and we think it absolutely shows that the lines between 'casual' and 'core' are not as clear as people once thought they were."
