Since the announcement of a "Final Fantasy VII" remake by Square Enix at the E3 2015 Conference, fans have been speculating on what it will feature. However, the crew behind the remake teased on what fans should anticipate.

In an interview with Games Radar, director Tetsuya Nomura assured fans that the upcoming remake will feature dramatic changes.

Nomura said, "And of course, that being said we want to clarify: We're not going to be changing it into a shooter or something like that. We are going to be bringing dramatic changes, but we want to make sure it's still recognizable."

Furthermore, Square Enix's head, Yoichi Wada, pointed out that the company will only develop another game if it exceeds the quality of "Final Fantasy VII." As a result, fans of the game should expect a better quality remake version of the original game.

Meanwhile, iDigital Times reported that 200 artists are preparing to release a five-disc remix album that features songs from the games in honor of the development of the upcoming remake.

Composers in the remix album include, Dale North (Dragon Fantasy Book II), Will Roget II (Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris), Francisco Cerda and John Robert Matz (Gunpoint), Jeff Ball (TimeSpinner), Smooth McGroove, Kyle Landry, String Player Gamer, Laura Intravia, and Kristin Naigus among others.

The fan prepared album titled "MATERIA: Final Fantasy VII" is a collection of 87 remixed best songs from the franchise. The album is accessible here for $19.99, Loudr and Spotify.
