The Pirate Bay is down again and it appears that it is offline due to host error. The torrent website pages are not accessible due to the downtime.

Pirate Bay has faced similar downtimes in the past and mostly due to server issues. Currently, TPB webpage is showing 'Error 522 Connection timed out'. "The initial connection between CloudFlare's network and the origin web server timed out. As a result, the web page can not be displayed," reads the message on The Pirate Bay page.

Meanwhile, several reverse proxies of The Pirate Bay and Kickass Torrents have vanished from the internet. These reverse proxies allowed people to access these websites if they are blocked in their regions.

According to a report by TorrentFreak, various torrent proxies disappeared like extratorrent.ch, piratebay.onl, kickasstorrents.nu, 1337x.link, yify.me and more.

All these websites proxies are connected to ProxyAds and ProxyHouse. These websites are now available for sale.

Earlier, the operator of ProxyHouse talked to TorrentFreak about the proxies they are running.

"At the moment, we are running over 17,000 proxy sites for KickassTorrents, ThePirateBay, YTS, ExtraTorrent and 1337x. By providing a lot of different domains, we are giving people the option to still access torrent sites," ProxyHouse operator said.

Despite these proxies of The Pirate Bay and Kickass Torrents disappearing users have many other options to circumvent and access the banned website.

Meanwhile, it has to be seen for how long The Pirate Bay will remain down for users.
