"Star Wars: Battlefront" release is making fans undeniably excited. Although the game is already said to never be released, the new gameplay footage of the PC version of "Star Wars Battlefront III" recently surfaced on the net.

"Star Wars: Battlefront III" video uploader recently revealed that the footage needed to undergo slight changes such as taking out nearly all of the audio. The purpose of this is to avoid dealing with settings for YouTube piracy. Previous reports also say that this signifies some premature gameplay, Entertainment Weekly reported.  However, this is still nowhere near the actual final build of the game for release.

Almost all of the gameplay transpires on several different ships. In the video, the player is seen pouncing around huge buildings, then shooting off into the space to carry on the fight against the bigger ships. Near the end of the video, a clone trooper carriage ship is shown, then proceeds to a cut scene. Subsequent to the cut scene, a ground combat is featured where the gamer assumes the character of a clone trooper, shooting at his droid enemies.

"Star Wars: Battlefront III" still did not hit the stores despite being practically done, as per Steve Ellis, the co-founder of Free Radical Design said to Game Spot. While it is not sure if the game actually plays half as good as it looks in the video,  Lucas Arts refusal to splurge money on the game's marketing has been reported as the cause of the delay.
