Samsung is gearing up for the Samsung Gear S2 pre-orders on Oct. 29.

With the commercial release happening on Nov. 12, the Samsung Gear S2 has been one of the most anticipated products from Samsung this year.

According to Yahoo!, the Gear S2 buzz started during the IFA 2015 Trade Show where it was introduced together with the Samsung Gear S2 Classic.

The Samsung Gear S2 is considered to be a competitor of the Apple Watch and the Moto 360 smartwatch. Both the Apple Watch and the Moto 360 were released earlier than the Gear S2. 

The Gear S2 has the similar functionalities, but it stands out because of the stylish circular design, according to Tech Times

Samsung's smartwatch also boasts of a custom interface that allows users to enhance and personalize their Gear S2s. The bezels will also act as the home and back buttons so the user can easily navigate through the device.

Moreover, the Gear S2 has a 1GHz dual-core processor that is partnered with a 512 RAM. It has a 1.2-inch screen with 360x360p resolution. It supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G networks and it has a 4GB internal storage.

The Gear S2 is available in dark grey color case with white band; while the Gear S2 Classic is offered in a black case and black leather band.

The Gear S2 is available for £249 ($382) and the Gear S2 Classic is offered at £299 ($458).

Meanwhile, Samsung will have a new "experiential showcase" in Westfield White City's shopping center in London. According to Samsung, the showcase will be a good opportunity for visitors to experience the full features of the Gear S2 and other recently launched Samsung products. The showcase runs from Oct. 23 to Nov. 3.
