Taylor Manning has nothing but good words about "Rap God" rapper Eminem. Before becoming one of Taylor Schilling's "Orange is the New Black" co-stars, Manning co-starred with Eminem in the 2002 film "8 Mile."

In a recent interview with Details, Manning said learned about Eminem's sense of humor while they were filming "8 Mile."

"He's hilarious," Manning said of Eminem. "He is always cracking jokes and a real goofball. I had a great connection with him."

However, when Manning first saw Eminem, she was mistaken for a fan who had gotten loose on the set. When she approached the "Rap God" rapper, his three huge bodyguards surrounded him. The bodyguards only allowed him to speak to her when she said she was an "8 Mile" cast member.

In "8 Mile," Eminem played Jimmy "R-Babbit" Smith while Manning played Janeane. The film also starred Kim Basinger as Stephanie Smith, Mekhi Phifer as David "Future" Porter and the late Brittany Murphy as Alex, among others.

Aside from acting, Manning is also into music. She and her brother Kellin Manning perform together as a duo known as Boomkat. In 2002, Eminem added one of Boomkat songs titled "Wastin' My Time" to the "8 Mile" soundtrack.

If Eminem is really hilarious as Taryn claims he is, it will be interesting to see him join Schilling and the rest of the "OITNB" cast even as a guest star in an episode or two. This is not a remote possibility as the only two TV series that featured him as a guest star, which are "Crank Yankers" and "Entourage," are comedy series.

Also, after "Entourage," Eminem's next acting gig was a cameo appearance in the comedy film "The Interview" although he was not credited.

In other news, Schilling was one of the celebrities spotted at the launch of Netflix at Palazzo Parigi in Milan, Italy. Aside from the "OITNB" actress, several TV series stars also attended the event including "Marco Polo" star Pierfrancesco Favino, "Sense8" star Daryl Hannah, "Arrested Development" star Will Arnett and "Jessica Jones" star Krysten Ritter, according to Just Jared
