Bringing tears to the eyes of Directioners, band One Direction gave their final performance before their 2016 "extended break" in Sheffield, UK on Nov. 1, Sunday.

The concert was One Direction's last show in their "On The Road Again" tour before the band's controversial hiatus. The band has a few appearances left before its members, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, go on their separate ways for a while to pursue their respective solo careers.

After performing more than 80 shows across 20 countries, band members have finally ended their tour with hugs and tears. The band members reflected on their journey and their relationship during the last five years and were seen in an emotional state.

"Please don't forget us," said Styles while fighting back tears while Payne declared that the concert was "the end of On The Road Again tour, not the end of One Direction," Daily Mail reported.

Although the band members emphasized in the past that the hiatus is temporary and they will be back soon, fans are speculating that One Direction has split and the members will never be back together.

Since the band's former member Zayn Malik left abruptly in March this year, One Direction was hit by nasty feud rumors. Styles and Tomlinson were rumored that they cannot stand each other, and the band members decided that it is best to part ways before it gets too ugly, Hollywood Life reported.

However, One Direction band members have insisted that they are not splitting up and instead want to focus on solo projects for a while.
