Just months before the release of the third installment of the Captain America film trilogy, more plot spoilers emerge.

While it has long been speculated that Steve Rogers will die and one of his cohorts, Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier or Sam Wilson aka Falcon will take the shield.

However, this does not jive with Chris Evans statement that he is staying, at the very least, until 2017 as he told Variety: "We can do this out loud. ('Avengers 2') will shoot till August. I wouldn't be surprised if for all of 2015, we didn't do a movie. I bet by 2017, I'll be done."

That statement is overridden by a subsequent interview with Collider where he stated that "if Marvel wants me, they got me" as he cited the studio's consistent record for making high quality, box-office raking films.

In short, the contractual limitations of Chris Evans would not play a part on what Marvel would want to do, but fan reactions may dictate the direction they want to go.

Which leads us to death in the Marvel Cinematic Universe-or lack thereof. So far, the only real deaths of heroic characters in the MCU were that of Phil Coulson-who was later resurrected-and Quicksilver, whom fans have yet to make a connection with.

Thus, there is the demand for blood in "Captain America: Civil War," especially with the title. What Culture believes that Marvel will satisfy the fans' bloodlust, but they might have to tread a very thin line.

"It is entirely possible that Disney will give the go-ahead for Rogers to be killed off just as he is the Civil War comic, as long as they make sure everyone knows it's just temporary," WC claimed. They also point out that Evans is confirmed to shoot "Avengers Infinity War."

Thus, it requires Marvel to have a plausible method of reaction and a compelling reason to bring Rogers back. For that they have two characters on hand: Doctor Strange and Thanos respectively.

"Well, this is where Doctor Strange comes off the bench and enters the game," WC suggests. "With Benedict Cumberbatch set to make his bow as the Master of the Mystic Arts a matter of months after Captain America: Civil War, it is likely that his first appearance will be in a Civil War post-credit scene, and one working theory is that he will be seen bringing Rogers back from the dead."

And why would fans cheer for a Rogers comeback? The heroes will have to drop everything, even their fight with each other because Thanos will appear and put everything in perspective.

It is reminded that Josh Brolin, the actor playing the purple Titan, has kept the door/s open for his appearances on any Marvel movie as he told MTV News:

"I don't know which one I'm in [next]. That's a Kevin Feige question. I know the trajectory of what they're doing, but I don't know exactly which one I'm in."

Considering "Civil War" will be Marvel's bet against "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," there's no sense hiding the big guns.
