The Verizon units of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are expected to finally get the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 update soon.

The update is expected to be released within this month for the build number SM-N910V, according to Venture Capital Post. The update will bring more notification controls, security patches, and many new features to the device.

Verizon was recently on the receiving end of a lot complaints from users due to the huge delay in getting the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 update. Sprint became the first and the only network carrier to release this update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 handsets.

Users who are on the T-Mobile, AT&T, and US Cellular network are also expected to hoping to get this update soon for Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update will be sent as an over the air update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 units. The users must connect their devices to a stable Wi-Fi connection before attempting to download and install this update. They must also make sure that their device is carrying a charge of at least 50 percent, else they will be prompted to connect their device to a power source.

In addition, the users should also make sure that their device contains enough memory space to accommodate this update without any hassles. The update can also be checked manually through Settings > About device > Software update > Check for updates.

After the update will be installed in the device, the material design will become more colorful along with a fresher look, according to BGR. The update will also bring new animation and icons in the menu. There will be the addition of the option of device sharing with a guest user.
