While Peter Moore, EA COO, was commenting on the significance of the Season Pass, it was evident that new Universes, player actions and new weaponry are coming up 12-18 months after the game release.

In an interview with Edge Media, More said, "What we've announced is four extra packs over the next 12 to 18 months coming post launch. To be very clear, you'll see new universes, you're gonna see new player actions, obviously new weaponry as well."

The four additional packs that the COO is referring to is about the four expansion packs incorporated in the purchase of the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Season Pass. The Season Pass is now listed at $50.

The developer company as well mentions that the game will go beyond its first year and it will establish itself in the way "Battlefield" did. Apart from bringing back avid gamers on hiatus, "Star Wars: Battlefront" is capturing a younger population of players, according to Tech Times.

Andrew Wilson, the CEO of EA, explained, "We're energized by the opportunity to bring in that lapsed gamer group, as well as adding a new, younger demographic. This is a shooter title that will be more appropriate for younger players compared to some other shooter titles in the market."

The CEO added that because of the long-term relationship that the company has had with Disney for the license of "Star Wars," EA is expected to launch a number of titles.
