Rumors say that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 is having Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820, though people are assuming that it might overheat like its predecessor, the SD810. Qualcomm already released a statement that their upcoming chip will not have the same overheating problem.

The San Diego-based chipset developer has recently revoked the rumors about their newest processor causing overheating on the upcoming Samsung phone, similarly to what happened with their SD810, Tech Radar reported. The company released their official statement saying that the SB820's performance will be better and more efficient eliminating the possibility of overheating during use.

Tech Radar directly contacted Qualcomm via email regarding the issue. They then received a reply saying "The rumors circulating in the media regarding Snapdragon 820 performance are false. The Snapdragon 820 improves on all IP blocks and is fabricated in the second generation of the 14nm process technology. It is meeting all of our specifications, but more importantly, it is satisfying the thermal and performance specifications from our OEMs."

Rumors have spread that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will have two variations, the premium and sub-premium, Ecumenical News reported. Both will have different processors, the sub-version will carry the Exynos M1. Assumptions point that Samsung is eyeing on doing an early announcement about the S7 with a target release of early 2016.

The tech community is filled with rumors about the upcoming Samsung phones, though the Galaxy S7 is still something that Samsung has to confirm. Everyone is just waiting for the right source to give clarification on the rumors, assumptions, and expectation the people are having.
