"Person of Interest" season 5 will reportedly be the final season of the CBS series after much speculation about its cancellation. In spite of it all, the cast and crew of the crime drama shared that they will give the fans a storyline that they will never forget.

At the recent New York Comic Con, via Comic Book Resources, showrunner Greg Plageman, producer Chris Fisher as well as stars Jim Caviezel (John Reese), Michael Emerson (Harold Finch), Kevin Chapman (Lionel Fusco), Sarah Shahi (Sameen Shaw) and Amy Acker (Root) talked about what fans can expect in the coming season.

Fisher said that season 5 is going to be the "most dramatic" and "most intense" season yet, adding that it will definitely be a great season. The producer, however, refused to reveal more spoilers about the show.

On the other hand, Plageman hinted that Finch's backstory may be revealed in the coming episodes. It was said that viewers will finally know what pushed him to create the Machine.

Plageman also said that viewers should watch out for the exciting scene between Finch and Plageman in the premiere episode.

"It's very bittersweet but a lot of fun, almost straight action," he said.

Meanwhile, when asked about how the 13-episode order affected their storyline, Chapman explained that it was not such a big of a deal as how others claimed to be. He credited the writers for doing such an amazing job this season.

Emerson, however, admitted that there is a possibility that "Person of Interest" will be cancelled after season 5. He said that fans should not be disappointed as the series could be picked up by another network. The actor, however, admitted that the chances may be slim given how expensive the series was.
