China's entertainment fans voted actress Zhou Xun as the country's top favored entertainer during the 15th Huading Awards, garnering 93.86 points in the international celebrity's satisfaction survey revealed on Nov. 26.

The "Red Sorghum" star was crowned as China's "most favorite star" after survey respondents chose their favorite entertainer based on their professionalism, philanthropy, social influence, ethics and commercial value.

Aside from the award, the 40-year-old singer-actress was also crowned as the Best Actress by several award-giving bodies such as the Hong Kong Film Awards, Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards, Festival du Film de Paris, Shanghai Film Critics' Awards, Asian Film Awards and many others.

She is also regarded as one of the "Four Dan Actresses of China," the title given to the four most bankable young actresses from mainland China during the early 2000s.

Tailing Zhou in the Huading Awards' list was Hong Kong singer Eason Chan, followed by Chinese actor Chen Daoming.

Other celebrities included in the top 10 are Chinese director Zhang Yimou, director Feng Xiaogang, Hong Kong artist and singer and now businessman Nicholas Tse, Tang Wei who has recently tied the knot, actor Mark Zhao and rock star Wang Feng.

The Huading Awards' international celebrity's satisfaction survey also covered celebrities who were reportedly involved in controversies in 2014, such as Taiwan-born actor Kai Ko and Jackie Chan's son Jaycee Chan who were both busted for drug abuse in Beijing.

Chinese actor Zhang Mo was also included in the bottom of the list after he was dragged into a prostitution scandal.
