"Blindspot" star Jaimie Alexander, 31, is set to reprise his role as Lady Sif in the 2017 film "Thor: Ragnarok" opposite Chris Hemsworth. Recently, the actress was asked to compare the two characters.

In an interview with Parade, Alexander said her "Blindspot" character Jane Doe is going to be as much of a badass as Lady Sif. She said, "Yes, Jane is a total badass. At this point Jane is more complex than Lady Sif."

Alexander said she hopes to explore both sides of her "Blindspot" character more. When asked about how she relates to a character with zero memory of she is, the actress said it may seem like it would be more difficult.

On the other hand, to Alexander, having such a character means the sky is the limit. She follows her instincts when she plays her "Blindspot" character, she said.

In order to get ready to play Jane Doe in "Blindspot," Alexander underwent training with Navy SEALS. She described the experience as "pretty intense."

"I only skimmed the surface of what they're capable of," Alexander said of the training with Navy SEALS. "It was a great experience. They're so impressive. The skills they have are truly unbelievable."

Among Alexander's "Blindspot" co-stars are Sullivan Stapleton, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ashley Johnson, Ukweli Roach, Johnny Whitworth, Joe Dinicol, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Michael Gaston.

In October, Stapleton told Newsday that one of the best parts of starring in "Blindspot" is getting to live in New York City. He said he loves that fact that it is "somewhere to settle for more than a few months."
