The NBA Trade Rumors still linger on the Phoenix Suns' Markieff Morris.

In their game against the Detroit Pistons, which would be the first time that the twins would play against each other since they were united with the Suns, Marcus Morris had an observation, as chronicled by M Live.

"You're in the league, a player says he doesn't want to play somewhere, and everybody's asking him about it, I haven't really seen too many places that kept the player who doesn't want to be here," Marcus said. He also noted that his brother "doesn't look happy, I know him, so it is what is."

Most league observers believed that Markieff's announcement was just the calm before the storm and it may be a compromise with the Suns' to augment his trade value. Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders had a similar view when asked about which is the first trade to go down this season.

"I think Markieff Morris is still someone to keep an eye on. I know the Suns have tried to dispel those rumors and get rid of that distraction, but I still think Morris is still someone who could eventually be moved. Both sides aren't pleased with the other and I could see them parting ways as the deadline gets closer, especially if Morris plays well and gets his trade value back up a bit between now and then."

There were already trade rumors about Morris last Summer, one that will send him to the Bulls for Taj Gibson, also a trade rumor staple, was one of the most reasonable. Markieff could thrive with the new-look Chicago Bulls with Coach Fred Hoiberg.

Another trade scenario has Markieff going to the Celtics with Jared Sullinger as the main piece. The Celtics have a wealth of draft picks and other players to add and they might be their edge.
