Michael Keaton has long been a fan of the Batman, especially since he played the character 25-years ago. Because of this, Keaton believes the Batman can defeat anyone, even the Hulk himself.

Keaton was asked if Batman could take on the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, his co-star in a movie called "Spotlight," during an interview with ABC Radio. It is a strange question, and one of many Keaton had to deal with in the past, and we can be sure he will deal with similar questions in the future.

As expected, the actor does believe that Batman is capable of defeating the Hulk as seen in his reply to the ABC Radio host.

"Everyone needs to stop asking the question of who could beat up who. Batman kicks everybody's ass. And if they won't, I will, Bruce Wayne will," says Keaton

Despite what the actor had to say, we have to ask the question, can the Batman truly go up against the Hulk and win? Tough question. We've seen the character take on Superman on several occasions, most notably in the Dark Knight Returns comic. But the Hulk is no Superman.

The problem here is that Superman knows what he is doing and as such will never fight the Batman at full strength because he's not a killer. However, the Hulk is a brute whose mind is not always focusing on whether or not he should take a life and the consequences of doing so. Because of that, the Hulk would likely not refrain from fighting Batman at full strength, something we doubt the Dark Knight can handle.

Still, with a little bit of preparation time, Batman could find a weakness in the Hulk's armor to revert the creature back into the form of Bruce Banner. From there, Batman would have to put Banner into a coma-like state where he would never wake up again.
