Jeanne Benoit was last seen in Season 4 of "NCIS." At the time, DiNozzo was assigned a mission that involved Benoit's father, who was an arms dealer in LA.
In Episode 8 of "NCIS" Season 13, Benoit reaches out to DiNozzo to help her find her husband. According to the synopsis (via Spoiler TV) for "Saviours," Benoit's husband was one of the several doctors who were volunteering in Sudan. These doctors go missing right after an attack by the insurgents in the area.
DiNozzo and McGee (Sean Murray) take up the case and fly to Sudan. Here they discover that not only these doctors are being captured but also being murdered. Will DiNozzo be able to find the man before its too late?

Meanwhile, speaking to TV Line, Scottie Thompson teased an "intense" Episode 8 when Jeanne and DiNozzo reunite. She even hinted at "unfinished business" and "underlying love" between the two.
"There's still a lot of anger, but underneath it all there is such a love, because these two people really loved each other and circumstances more than anything else separated them," Thompson said. "So of course there's a lot of pain and anger and resentment, but at the same time there's this deeper, underlying love. At first, you're like, "Maybe I've moved on and forgiven," but then you actually see the person and you're like, "Shoot! I don't know if I've forgiven fully." And that's something going through her head. But also, she's really concerned because her husband is missing," she added.
