"Star Wars Battlefront" 2015 will feature a new companion app, game files size and details on the vehicles, weapons and Star Cards.
Electronic Arts and DICE announced that official download file size of "Star Wars Battlefront" for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC platforms. The PS4 version will have a download size of 23GB, contradicting the previous speculations of having a 25GB file size. The Xbox One console on the other hand, has a smalle download size of 19GB and the PC version is at 27GB, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
"Star Wars Battlefront" has join other upcoming video games this year that have enormous amounts of download file sizes such as "Fallout 4", "Halo 5" and "Rainbow Six: Siege".
Aside from the game file size, EA launched the companion app for "Star Wars: Battlefront" in the iOS, Android and in the internet. The "Battlefront" app allows playes to view their stats as well as their friends, sending out notifications or request to join them in the game and view their collected Star Cards.
Another interesting feature in the app is a new mini-game called "Base Command" that features card game elements in tower defense style. The mini-game will have Imperial Troops swarming at them, while they defend a rebel base and use Star Cards to gain access to weapons, vehicles etc.
Gamers can earn credits in playing the app and they can be use to purchase items in the "Star Wars Battlefront" video game.
In other news, EA posted several images of every weapon, vehicles, heroes and Star Cards available in "Star Wars Battlefront, Gamespot reported.
Gamers will quickly see several changes in the main game that was not shown in the beta version, for instance the Jump Pack will be available for gamers when they have reached rank 13 instead of rank 5 and the Cycle Rifle can only be unlocked at level 28.
The highest Star Card in the game is the Wookie Bowcaster that fires explosive arrows and dealing a large amount of damage. The highest ranked Charged Star Card is the Personal Shield and gamers will have to be at level 22.
The main heroes and villains in the game will include Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Emperor Palpatine, as well as other famous vehicles like the Millennium Falcon, X-Wing, TIE Fighters, Assault Walkers and many more.
"Star Wars Battlefront" will be release on Nov. 17 for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
