The latest "Suits" season 5 episode 11 promo and spoilers hinted that the one who turned Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) in will be revealed in the premiere. Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) seems determined to find out who sold Mike out before finding out how they could get away with it.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, when season 5B premieres on Jan. 27 the entire episode will focus on Mike's arrest. It was said that the investigation will be led by US attorney Anita Gibbs (Leslie Hope). The outlet speculated that Pearson Specter Litt may be over after the case.
Harvey will reportedly do everything he can to prove that Mike is innocent even if he knows that he is by all counts guilty. He may have resigned from the firm to protect it but rumor has it, he will be returning to help Mike and Jessica (Gina Torres) get through this scandal.
Mike's fiancé Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) will also be undoubtedly involved in this. Her father Robert (Wendell Pierce) will not at all be happy when he found out that his daughter will be marrying a fraud.
In a previous interview with THR, creator and showrunner Aaron Korsh explained that they have stretched Mike's secret for too long. He shared that it was just really a matter of time before he was caught.
When asked about who turned Mike in, Korsh said that they did not have a specific person in mind when they thought of the episode. He explained that it could be his "friend, foe, a neutral party or someone who has never even met Mike."
