Spider-Man is a "wimp," according to "Spotlight" actor Michael Keaton.

In his interview with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show," Keaton recalled the time when he had been at a phone repair store waiting to have his phone fixed. The actor called Peter Parker a "pussy" especially in a scene where Parker had been crying in front of her loved one Gwen Stacy. When the repairman turned at him, Keaton compared the iconic webslinger to Batman, whom he described as someone who "never cried."

According to Cinema Blend, Spider-Man was just as capable a crimefighter, but was more in touch with his emotions. The publication added that just because the Dark Knight did not often shed a tear did not make him better than Spider-Man. Overall, Keaton's remark sounded more of a shock than his actual point of view.

Keaton is known for his roles in Tim Burton's 1989 "Batman" and 1992 "Batman Returns," Lee Unkrich's animation adventure comedy "Toy Story 3," and Alejandro G. Iñárritu's comedy drama "Birdman: Or (the Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)." The actor is set to be part of Tom McCarthy's historical drama film "Spotlight" and John Lee Hancock's drama "The Founder."

Prior to his appearance in Jon Watts' solo "Spider-Man" reboot, Holland will debut the character in Marvel's Cinematic Universe the Russos' "Captain America: Civil War," which centers on the release of the Accords. It is released by the government to limit superheroes from using their powers.

Spider-Man's side in "Captain America: Civil War" has not yet been revealed at this point, while previous rumors said that he would team up with Iron Man's team, which reportedly includes Black Widow, War Machine, The Vision, and Black Panther. They are set to clash against Captain America's team, which includes Hawkeye, Falcon, Agent 13, and Ant-Man.

Meanwhile, Batman is set to be seen next in Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which serves as the path to the rise of the superhero team Justice League. The film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.

The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere on May 6, 2016 while Watts' "Spider-Man" film reboot is set to hit theaters on July 28, 2017. Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016. Meanwhile, the release date for Affleck's untitled "Batman" reboot is yet to be revealed. McCarthy's "Spotlight" premieres on Dec. 31.
