Apple has released 2015 holiday gift guide offering fans the latest products from its brand with free shipping. Launched on Nov. 13, the guide stars iPhone 6s, iPad Pro, Apple TV and other popular hardware alongside third-party accessories, all available with attractive discounts.
An annual affair since 2002, the holiday gift guide has a mix of hardware and software products under six categories, which are gaming, photography, music, travel, learning and fitness, as posted on the Apple website. To ensure affordability and enhance the convenience of shopping during the holiday season, the brand offers free shipments to North America, Europe and various other regions.
The spotlight is on the latest and most popular Apple devices. Buyers too have the option to purchase accessories from several third-party retailers compatible with Apple and Mac range of products, according to 9to5Mac.
The Apple TV is the most featured attraction on the gaming section alongside iPad Air 2. Other major items on the list include iTunes gift cards and SteelSeries Nimbus and Parrot Bebop drones. For young children, the guide offers the Star Wars BB-8 toy.
Apple promotes its iPhone 6s as "the most popular camera in the world" in the photography section, which also hosts Gorillapod tripod and olloclip Active Lens to the ultimate delight of both amateur and professional photographers. Retina MacBook, iPad Pro, HISY Camera Remote and MeFOTO Sidekick360 adapter too share space with several photo-centric apps.
The music section shows off two broad categories of products. MacBook and iPhone 6s dominate the official products. Beats wireless headphones and speakers, iRig Pads music controller, B&O tools and Apogee MiC microphone make the accessory and third-party category.
Apart from the iPad Air 2 and Retina MacBook, this year's learning category highlights iPod touch and Sphero SPRK and Osmo genius kit for MacBook and a range of educational apps.
The Apple Watch, another ambitious official product, is the most important item in the travel section. Noise-cancelling headphones and iPad mini 4 are also on the offer along with other accessories.
Fitness freaks can select from Apple EarPods, Wahoo Fitness KICKR SNAP cycling trainer and TICKR heart rate monitor, armband for iPhone 6s and a number of featured apps. The Apple Watch Sport device and Nike+ Running app take the center stage among the most prominent items on offer in the fitness section.
Apple has kept "coordination" as the official theme of the 2015 holiday gift guide and, accordingly, presented an assortment of third-party accessories compatible with its official products. This year's shopping showcase has the most varied mix of consumption and creative products in consonance with Apple's fashion-focused retail push. It also first to reject the myth of timid Black Friday sales participation by the world's leading innovator.
