It's becoming more unlikely that any of the Pokémon Z and Pokémon GO will get a 2015 release date schedule and more so a launch that will happen next month or December. A more solid bet for rollout time is early 2016 as the Pokémon creator should be more inclined to issue the new game titles around February next year.

Why so? February 2016 marks the 20th anniversary of the first-gen Pokémon game, the and according to Tech Times, Pokémon is planning to celebrate the milestone by re-issuing the first three versions of the Pokémon game franchise.

To come out are practically the duplicates of the originals. "The games remain true to the originals - complete with monochromatic pixel art and 4-bit background music-so you can feel as though you're experiencing these games just as they were back then," the publication quoted an official Pokémon announcement as saying.

Unpacking of the Pokémon reissues is set February 27, which gives Movie Pilot the fantastic idea that the game creator might be mulling over an exciting move. It is not impossible that the game maker would deny Pokémon fans the Christmas gift of seeing any of the Z or GO coming out this year, the report said.

Instead, the company would opt for an all-at-once launch, overwhelming fans with the Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow on the Nintendo 3DS plus the Pokémon Z and GO releases at the same time or within February. Now that would be a blast of celebrating two decades of Pokémon gaming, the report said.

Still, Pokémon has the last say on the matter. It could be that the company will reveal its plans via Junichi Masuda, the man who directed the Pokémon X and Y and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Anyone looking for solid Pokémon details should not look beyond Masuda as he has definite inside knowledge on both the Pokémon Z and GO projects, Movie Pilot said.

Rumors say he will be spilling the beans via a Japanese TV guesting this week.

Or the juicy details could be known by December 15 as Nintendo Life reported that Japanese magazine CoroCoro is rumored to carry a major Pokémon announcement on its next month edition. Likely set for revelation is anything about Pokémon Z, the report added.

Whatever Masuda or CoroCoro will discuss, gamers are now looking to February 27, 2016 as the likely Pokémon Z and GO release date, that is if the rumored December 2015 outing will not materialize.
