The diplomat further said that "the diversity and vitality it shows is the result of an active film scene in Germany which creatively turns towards international competition and cooperation."

The tour will highlight the award-winning German film "Victoria," which is a Silver Bear winner at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival.

Directed by Sebastian Schipper, the movie follows the crazy and cracked adventures of a young woman in Berlin. It gained immense attention as the story took place in real-time without any cuts in the film's scenes.

The movie "We Art Young, We Are Strong" will also be featured. The Burhand Qurbani film tells a violent tale of Germany during the aftermath of the nation's reunification.

Assuring the relevance of the film, German Films managing director Mariette Rissenbeek said: "The treatment and fear of refuges and migrants are societal themes that have lost none of their currency of today."

Apart from the movie screening, Chinese film fans will also get the chance to meet and greet German actors Joel Basman and Antoine Monot Jr. as they will hold a Q&A session during the festival.
