Tom Clancy's much-awaited "Rainbow Six Siege" shooter game will finally have an open beta release on Nov. 25, Wednesday, although Ubisoft clarified progress made during the beta phase will not carry over to the first official season.

Players who were lucky enough to have participated in the closed beta season back on Sept. 24 can also get an early advantage from others as they get to access the open beta a full 24 hours before everyone else on Nov. 24, Tuesday.

According to the French multinational video game developer, the open beta of "Rainbow Six Siege" hopes to examine the game's matchmaking feature and the online infrastructure, according to Game Spot.

Likewise, Clancy's upcoming first-person shooter game will have the open beta season until Nov. 29. However, Ubisoft clarified that any equipment, progression, and ranks acquired during the open beta phase will be removed once the official season starts.

During the open beta season, gamers of "Rainbow Six Siege" will be able to use three distinct maps to battle against each other, namely Hereford, Kanal and House, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

The first map, Hereford, is located in a woodland outpost while Kanal is an industrial complex. The third map, House, is characterized by a suburban setting.

Aside from the available maps, there will also be three game modes to keep players interested in the game. The Disarm Bomb mode allows up to five gamers attempt to stop an explosive set by the game itself from going off. The second mode is a 10-player version of the 5-player Disarm Bomb mode.

The final game mode in "Rainbow Six Siege" is the Secure Mode which divides ten players into two teams representing attackers and defenders. The attackers to choose from are Ash, Thermite, I.Q. Glaz, Thatcher Blitz and Montagne while the defenders are Doc, Kapkan, Bandit, Pulse, Mute, Castle and Tachanka.

Despite the variety of choices, Ubisoft has noted that players will not be able to use the iconic Fuze during the open beta season. "Rainbow Six Siege" is set to launch on Dec. 1 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
