New "Kingdom Hearts 3" details reveal possible new weapon's based on Star Wars and Marvel franchises, as well as Woody and Buzz Lightyear of "Toy Story" as playable characters.
Both Star Wars and Marvel franchises have been the source of numerous rumors and speculations within "Kingdom Hearts 3" as co-director Tai Yasue stated that third instalment will likely include characters and worlds from these franchises and Square Enix has not yet confirmed nor deny the possibility.
However, new details claim that Square Enix might not include characters and worlds from both Marvel and Star Wars, but instead feature weapons from both franchises and is hinted to be a Jedi light saber and Captain America's famous star-spangled shield, Realty Today reported.
Aside from the Marvel and Star Wars weapons, there have hints that "Toy Story" could be included in "Kingdom Hearts 3" as new summon from Sora that featured Buzz Lighter's Astro Blasters. With "Toy Story" possibly added to the game, Sora and the gang might encounter Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the characters soon and even join them as possible playable characters and allies, MotoringCrunch reported.
"Toy Story" has been a huge request from gaming fans along with other Disney worlds such as "The Jungle Book", "Wreck-It Ralph", "Frozen", "Brave" and "The Fox and the Hound".
The Disney world's that were confirmed in "Kingdom Hearts 3" include "Hercules", "Tangled" and "Big Hero 6". Final Fantasy characters such as Noctis, Snow Villiers, Vincent Valentine, Fran, Balthier etc. have been rumored to show up in the game.
Square Enix stated that multiplayer gameplay could be a new feature in the game and that gamers will have a chance to control other "Kingdom Hearts" characters aside from Sora. Game director Tetsuya Nomura added that Organization XIII member Marluxia will be returing to "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" launch date is speculated to be sometime in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
