It was, however, pointed out that given the show's setting, it was not at all easy to find another series which may be set in the remote area of Wyoming. Given that "Criminal Minds" had its cast members traveling to various locations, there just may be hope after all.

The publication pointed out that the Walt (Robert Taylor) could teach Hotch (Thomas Gibson) or Rossi (Joe Mantegna) a thing or two about relying too much on their "fancy" equipment to solve crimes. On the other hand, Walt and the others may also start to appreciate FBI's methods.

Based on the poll from the website, 60% of the readers wanted to see a "Longmire" crossover come season 5.

However, given that the shows air on different networks and are produced by different studios it would be extremely difficult for a crossover to happen.

"The only way we could really see it working is if there are just a few small cameos during a 'Criminal Minds' episode from the 'Longmire' gang working as local law enforcement," the outlet said.

A netizen further commented that a crossover between "Criminal Minds" and "Castle" may be more plausible.
