New "The Flash" season 2 details will feature Zoom's possible identity, Wally West first appearance and King Shark not appearing in the crossover episode.

A new fan theory stated that the possible identity of the evil speedster, Zoom (Tony Todd) could be an Earth 2 counterpart of someone close to Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) in season 2. Numerous characters were mentioned to be the possible identity of Zoom such as Edward Clariss/The Rival, Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett), Future Barry Allen etc. However, the new theory hinted that Zoom could be an Earth 2 version of Barry's father, Henry Allen (John Wesley Shipp).

Earth 2 metahumans existed due to Earth 2 Harrison Wells' (Tom Cavanaugh) particle accelerator exploded, but Jay Garrick/The Flash (Teddy Sears) discovered that another dangerous energy source was found below S.T.A.R. Labs that were different from the particle accelerator explosion and accuses Wells' of creating Zoom.

So how does Earth 2 Henry Allen fit in the theory? Several comic book fans and netizens stated that they tried to cross reference the eyes of both Zoom and Henry Allen and found out that they have similar eye shape, Melty reported.

The theory further explained that Zoom knew who Barry Allen is when send Doctor Light to kill him, who happens to be the Earth 2 version of Barry's ex-girlfriend Linda Park (Malese Jow) knowing it will keep him off-guard.

Zoom will likely have a huge grudge against Earth 2 Harrison Wells, possibly mirroring what happened to season 1 were in Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) killed Nora Allen, which resulted in Henry being framed and sent to prison. With Earth 2 Henry Allen being Zoom, it will be emotionally difficult for Barry to fight him knowing that monstrous speedster happens to look like his loving father.

In other news, the midseason finally will introduce a new character in the Flash mythos in the form of Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale).

Wally West in "The Flash" season 2 is the biological son of Joe and Francine West (Jesse L. Martin and Vanessa A. Williams) and Iris' (Candice Patton) younger brother. Iris found out that her mother had a son and Joe does not know about it and had kept it a secret for awhile.

The midseason finally will likely have Iris tell his father the truth about Wally, while the Flash will stop villains the Trickster (Mark Hamill), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre).

Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg announced that King Shark will not appear in the upcoming "The Flash and "Arrow" crossover as he explained that it was just for "fun" and stated that they cannot afford to do a whole episode about him, ComicBookResources reported.

"The Flash" season 2 airs on Tuesdays at 8pm ET on The CW Network.
