Youssef al-Kasaesbeh, the father of Jordanian Flight Lt. Moaz al-Kasaesbeh, continues to make a plea hoping that his son captured by the ISIS extremists will not be harmed. Prior to this, the ISIS has sadistically ignored pleas made by the families of their Western hostages.

Earlier, the ISIS has beheaded five hostages; Americans James Foley, Herve Goudel and Steven Sotloff and Britons Alan Henning and David Haines.

"I don't want to describe him as a hostage," al-Kasaesbeh said adding that his son is "a guest among brothers of ours in Syria Islamic State," Zee News reported.

In an attempt to appease the extremists by referring to Syria as Islamic State, the anxious father also said, "I ask them in the name of God, and I ask them with the dignity of Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him, to receive him as a guest and treat him well."

"I hope God will put mercy in their hearts and they will release my son," al-Kassasbeh also told Saraya News, Al Arabiya News reported.

In July, the captured 26-year-old Flight Lieutenant in Jordan's Royal Air Force just got married. He was recently captured by the ISIS after his anti-ISIS coalition warplane Jordanian F-16 aircraft was shot down.

Claiming to have shot down the plane, the ISIS posted online images said to be that of the pilot but the United States military refuted their claim that they downed the plane. The US military suggested that the ISIS just wanted to cash in on the crash to highlight its achievement.

As one of the countries that are members of the anti-ISIS coalition, Jordan has been performing air strikes against the ISIS in Syria and Iraq since September.
