"Captain America: Civil War" will feature another theory on Martin Freeman's character and the first trailer for movie has been revealed.

Marvel launched the first trailer for "Captain America: Civil War" this week as Marvel and comic book fans alike have been anticipating the trailer for several months. Being the first trailer its seems that the video is different compared to one shown and described during AsiaPop Comic Con event and D23 Expo as the trailer starts of with the end credit scene from "Ant-Man" were in Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) and Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) found Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) trapped in a device in an unknown location. Bucky has somehow remembers Steve as he stated his mother's name and how he use to put newspapers on his shows.

The scene will shift into different action scenes, but will witness some of the key characters in "Civil War" such as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (William Hurt) informing Cap and the Avengers about "the Accords" as the world's government will not tolerate any "heroics" without any consent from its leaders, which will lead to chaos. It seems that government is after Bucky for a crime he did not commit and Cap and his team are their to protect him, while a new team of Avengers are sent to capture him and are being led by Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). New Marvel characters like T'Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) have made their debut as he joins Iron Man's team in capturing Bucky and has fight scene with him and Captain America. The trailer ends with Cap and Bucky teaming-up to fight Iron Man.

Marvel has recently updated the synopsis for "Captain America: Civil War" and it is purely based on the first trailer, ComicBookResources reported. It was originally stated that the first trailer for "Captain America: Civil War" will launch during the premiere week of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", but it seems that Marvel decided to release it sooner than everyone thought or perhaps they will preview the one shown from AsiaPop and D23 Expo since second trailers intend to have extended scene not found on the first one.

In other news, a new theory for Martin Freeman's role in "Captain America: Civil War" has been revealed as his character has been stated that he works for the government and will likely be the bridge between them and the superheroes of the world.

It speculated that Freeman's character is part of the World Council and is hinted to be MCU's version of Henry Peter Gyrich, Moviepilot reported. Gyrich in the comics is CIA/NSA agent who acts as the government's liason to the Avengers. The theory also hinted Gyrich could also be a HYDRA agent working for Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl), a possible twist since Gideon Malick from the World Council (Powers Boothe) is also a member of HYDRA in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3.

"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in cinemas on May 6, 2016.
