Torrent fans are curious about the credibility of the new YTS website and they wonder what the new domain is all about.
The domain name YTS.ag was recently registered on the Internet, and it quickly climbed in its Alexa ranking. This new website advertises itself as the new official domain for the torrent site YTS.
YTS.ag is closely associated with the old YIFY team. This old team went offline when a legal issue took place with the MPAA. However, eventually the company came around and launched YTS.ag, claiming that it is far better than the older version of the torrent site. This website might seem like the exact clone of YTS, but is sports many new operations and enhancements, according to Heavy Tech.
Releases from YTS.ag are available in 720p, 1080p, along with 3D versions. These are able to replicate the old operations in two ways. The first way gives a decent quality of video in a smaller size. In the second way, the torrent users with no access to large bandwidth can download movies with small titles. It is designed to give superb quality videos.
Most of the torrent website operators so far do not to work with YTS.ag. Torrent giants like RARBG, Extra Torrent, and Kickass Torrents, do not want to work with YTS.ag at the moment. The reason behind this is that they think this site is wrongly using the YTS brand and also misleading people.
YTS.ag obviously denies this allegation and says that these websites are believing YTS.ag to be connected with EZTV, which is false.
It is also speculated that the new YTS.ag is connected to the people who took over EZTV this year, according to Torrent Freak. After these allegations were put forward, YTS.ag changed many things on their website.
All in all, they are trying to get back the old YTS web style and also the YIFY releases.
