The Android Marshmallow upgrade for Nexus 7(2013) for the T-Mobile network carrier was stopped mid-way recently. It is expected that the rollout will resume from December onwards.

The developers at Google are reportedly trying to fix the bugs for the tablet. Three tech giants, ASUS, Google, and T-Mobile are working together to fix this issue and resume the roll out for Android Marshmallow latest by mid-December, according to Android Police.

They are working together to start the rolling out again as soon as possible. It is reported that a bug was discovered, which is causing the abrupt pausing and delay of the Android Marshmallow update for the Google Nexus 7.

This is not an uncommon scenario. Many updates were paused mid-way due to unexpected occurrences of bugs earlier as well, according to Android Headlines. It generally takes about a week or two to fix the issue and resume the roll out once again. The same applies to Nexus 7 too. The users will start receiving the OTA notifications again as soon as the update gets resumed.

Android Marshmallow started to make its way to Nexus 7(2013) on Oct. 5. The users who are not willing to wait for this update can download the Google factory image and install the update themselves. They will need to flash their ROM and master reset their device in order to do so. The MRA85K build file can be found and downloaded on Google's website and can be then flashed to the Nexus 7 (2013) LTE.

Nexus devices were the first and foremost devices to receive this update. The update was launched with the Google LG Nexus 5(2015). Devices like Nexus 9, Nexus 6, and Nexus 5 are also lined up to receive the Android Marshmallow update really soon.
