Following the events in Rowling's final novel "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," many fans conveyed their curiosity on why Potter had named his second son after Professor Severus Snape, along with Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, according to News.

On Nov. 27, Twitter user Jasmine sent a tweet to Rowling, asking the reason why the latter had picked Snape to name Potter's son after, despite of the professor's complexities and abusive attitude towards everyone in the novel and in the film.

On Nov. 27, Rowling answered Jasmine's question. She wrote on Twitter that Snape had died for Harry out of love for Lily, so Harry had pain him tribute in forgiveness and gratitude.

In another tweet, the "Harry Potter" author also said that Snape was all grey and one could not make him a saint, as he had been vindictive and bullying. Snape had not also been a devil as he had died to save the world of wizards.

For Rowling, Potter had hoped in his heart that he would also have been forgiven, as the deaths at the Battle of Hogwarts would have haunted him forever. In the end, despite the love and fury Rowling had received on Twitter, the "Harry Potter" author wished Snape lovers, haters, and "in-betweeners" a good day.

Albus Severus was set to feature in new West end production "The Cursed Child," which opens in London in 2016, NME reported.

Meanwhile, the cinematic adaptation of Rowling's "Harry Potter" prequel novel entitled "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is set to appear in theaters soon. Set in 1926 New York, the films centers on the exploits of magizoologist Newt Scamander as he came to the city's underground community of witches and wizards.

Directed by David Yates, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" stars "Les Miserables" actor Eddie Redmayne as Scamander, along with Katherine Waterston as Tina, Dan Alison Sudol as Queenie, Fogler as Jacob, Colin Farrell as Graves, and Ezra Miller as Kredan, among others.

For the time being, exact plot details, additional characters, and cast are yet to be revealed.

Yates' "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is slated to premiere in theaters in United States on Nov. 18, 2016.
