‘South Park’ Season 19, Episode 9 Recap: ‘Truth and Advertising’ [SPOILERS]

With just one left before the season finale, "South Park" addresses the sponsored content theme and how South Park has become expensive for the citizens. "South Park" Season 19, Episode 9 is titled "Truth and Advertising."

"South Park" Season 19, Episode 9 "Truth and Advertising" Recap

The episode starts off with PC Principal's office calling out for Kyle from the class. Something is wrong as Jimmy and Leslie are missing and there is a hunger strike in PC frat house.

"South Park" Season 19, Episode 9 also shows Randy Marsh realizing that the entire gentrification process has made the town expensive for its own people.

Meanwhile, Jimmy is confused about Leslie. He decides to write about the advertisements in the Super School Newspaper, but his idea is crushed by journalists who are now ad men.

It is reported that Leslie and Jimmy are sent on a Disney cruise. Later, it is revealed that Nathan is the one handling the duty of Super School Newspaper's editor while Jimmy is gone.

Garrison and formal Principal Victoria come to South Park along with Caitlyn Jenner. They are horrified to see what South Park has turned into.

Elsewhere, Leslie's charm starts to work on Jimmy. He is now trusting Leslie. Kyle, Eric Cartman, Butters and Stan try to find more information about PC Principal, however the ads obstruct their ways.

Randy is being grilled by Victoria and Garrison. He admits that South Park's gentrification was his baby. Meanwhile, the hunger strike in PC frat house means they can only eat pussy.

Leslie is helped by Jimmy to get out of ad centre. In the school, Kyle and Stan are against each other. Nathan is confronted by Jimmy and Leslie was supporting the ads all this while.

"South Park" Season 19, Episode 9 ends with Leslie meeting Kyle and gets his social security number's last four digits.

It has to be seen what will happen to PC Principal and what is Leslie's plan. "South Park" Season 19, Episode 10 is set to answer the queries.
