A Playboy favorite is the cover girl of its January/February 2016 double issue - the last that the iconic men's magazine would feature nude women. PETA activist and former "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson makes porn history by being the magazine's last nude cover girl.

The pictorial of Anderson's 14th Playboy cover and 15th photoshoot was done at the Playboy Mansion, reports CBS. The photographer was Ellen von Unwerth and the interviewer for the accompanying story was James Franco.

The decision to have Anderson as the last nude cover girl came from Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, according to E! News.

In the interview, Anderson hints that one of her sons may have been conceived in the mansion.  Despite wearing sexy red bathing suits for "Baywatch," Anderson shares in the story that accompanies the 12-page pictorial that she was very shy for her first nude photoshoot for Playboy in 1989 when she was 22.

"The photographer shot me in one roll of film because I was nervous and throwing up. But then I saw the pictures, and from there it was hard to keep my clothes on!" Anderson shares.

The 40-plus celebrity admits to being a bit of an exhibitionist and playful and having fun as well now. After her Playboy stint, Anderson feels something big would soon happen to her such as possibly a movie or another relationship.

In October, Playboy announced that it would stop having nude women on the magazine, although the publication would still go on with its other features. The change is partly caused by the proliferation of porn movies on the internet that printed magazines could not compete with.
